Efficient Tree Inventory Management with GIS Solutions

This presentation will cover the use of ArcGIS as an inventory tool for advanced tree management and how it can simplify tree inventory, inspections, and maintenance while providing invaluable insights for informed decision-making. Topics discussed (and shown in real-world use) will include precise mapping to ensure accurate tree inventory and maintenance data, utilizing the Bad Elf Flex data collection tool's geospatial capabilities to provide up-to-date insights for informed decisions. Discussion will also cover providing efficient fieldwork and integrating collection tools for one-touch data capture in the field, as well as accessing current tree conditions with real-time data sync between the collection tool and ArcGIS.
Additionally, using ArcGIS's analytics to uncover tree health, growth patterns, and risks will be explored, enabling proactive management. Engaging the public with ArcGIS Dashboards, sharing tree information and maintenance schedules interactively, will also be discussed. Increasing cost savings by optimizing workflows, preventing emergencies, and making data-driven choices for long-term cost-efficiency will be emphasized, along with providing data analytics and citizen reporting by gathering data on tree health, species, and trends, while allowing the public to request work orders and monitor progress.
