This presentation will discuss Plant Health Care for woody ornamental plants and trees focusing on the application of responsible IPM as part of an overall tree service PHC program when dealing with insect pests. Comment will be made on diagnosis and treatment, applicator and environmental safety, insect biology, behavior and response including insect resistance and resurgence, protection of biological controls and other beneficial organisms, chemical types, mode of action, and application techniques and timing, as well as available products and product performance.
